Sherina Petit has joined Stewarts to lead the International Arbitration team.

Her focus will be on implementing a targeted plan to create a market-leading specialist practice, growing a diverse team and expanding the department’s areas of specialism and geographical reach.

Sherina will play a leading role as Stewarts extends its international presence. She will be Head of India and will also support the firm’s international strategy not only in India but also in Africa, the Middle East and Singapore. She will also be a member of the Stewarts Executive Committee.

Sherina will focus on high-value, complex disputes and continue to use her knowledge and experience to act as a strategic adviser to clients seeking advice and assistance across the globe.

Sherina joins existing partners Daniel Wilmot and Alejandro Garcia in the arbitration team. Her arrival brings the number of lawyers in the International Arbitration department to 11 and the number of partners at Stewarts to 84.
