James Price has once again been listed among the ‘Global Elite’ in the 2022 edition of the Private Client Global Elite guide, compiled by ALM. Emma Holland, Luca del Panta and Lucy Stewart-Gould are listed as ‘Rising Leaders’.
Launched in 2017, the Private Client Global Elite serves as a respected global directory of the world’s top private client talent, as well as rising stars within the industry.
6,000 submissions were made for the latest edition of the guide, with fewer than 600 lawyers then included.
James Price, Head of Trust and Probate Litigation, is once again included among the Private Client Global Elite and highlighted for his work in contentious trusts, probate and other areas of dispute resolution in the trusts arena. In his Q&A listing, James notes his proudest professional moment: “I am delighted to have built from scratch a fabulous, bright and award winning team at Stewarts.” The profile can be found here.
Emma Holland is also listed for her work in trust disputes, probate disputes and within the Court of Protection. She cites the latter as a likely area of growth over the next twelve months: “Where the settlor/ beneficiaries are still alive but there are issues as to their capacity.” Read her profile here.
Lucy Stewart-Gould, a partner in our Divorce and Family team, is listed as a ‘Rising Leaders’. Looking to future trends in family litigation, Lucy predicts “there may be an increase in arbitration as a result of clients being concerned about their family’s privacy due to the transparency agenda in the Family Court.” Her profile is available here.
Senior Associate Luca del Panta is also included in the ‘Rising Leaders’ category for his extensive experience of probate and trust disputes in the UK and various offshore jurisdictions. In 2020, Luca was listed as a ‘High Achiever’ and a winner of STEP’s Worldwide Excellence Award. His Private Client Global Elite profile can be found here.
