Stewarts was named Large Law Firm of the Year at the Yorkshire Legal Awards at a virtual awards ceremony on 15 December 2020.

The firm was crowned the winner from six shortlisted firms.

Simon Farthing of Lexis Nexis commented in his video announcing the winners that Stewarts was bringing London quality work to Leeds. He said the firm excels in the litigation areas of personal injury, matrimony, and commercial law. The firm was also commended for its significant commitment to pro bono work in Yorkshire.
