The Chambers High Net Worth Awards 2024 took place on 11 July at London’s National Gallery, recognising the pre-eminent law firms and other legal organisations serving high net worth clients worldwide.

Our Trust and Probate Litigation department won the Contentious Trusts and Estates Team of the Year award, and Divorce and Family partner Voirrey Ward won Rising Star of the Year. Stewarts was the only organisation to win in two categories in 2024.

Contentious Trusts and Estates Team of the Year

Our Trust and Probate Litigation department are now three-time winners of this award, having previously taken the prize in both 2020 and 2021. The team has gone from strength to strength since those earlier wins having also been awarded STEP Private Client Team of the Year in 2023.

Our team is ranked in Band 1 of the Private Client Disputes category in the 2024 edition of Chambers High Net Worth, with all four partners receiving individual rankings. “The firm’s purely litigation model ensures that partners are well placed to handle significant private wealth disputes, including those with offshore elements,” the guide states. Rising Star of the Year: Voirrey Ward

Voirrey won this year’s Rising Star award. Voirrey was promoted to partner in 2023. Her expertise is resolving complex financial claims arising on family breakdown, acting for a broad range of high net worth and high-profile individuals and their spouses and partners, as well as relevant third parties (such as trustees, companies or related individuals).

After joining Stewarts as a paralegal, Voirrey completed a training contract at the firm and qualified in 2011. She is listed as an Up and Coming Partner in the 2024 edition of Chambers High Net Worth. The guide’s sources said: “Voirrey is incredible. She’s all over the detail and the numbers, and she keeps everybody on their toes. She has a feel for where things are and doesn’t let things drop”.
