Angela has considerable experience advising both claimants and defendants in complex disputes. Notable examples include:
- a 16-week trial in the Commercial Court acting for a German bank involved in a dispute regarding credit swaps
- acting for a member of a royal family in relation to a complex jurisdictional challenge
- advising companies in relation to highly sensitive internal investigations
Angela read law at St Anne’s College, Oxford. She spent over seven years as a qualified client-facing lawyer in the disputes team at Baker & McKenzie LLP. During that period, she was involved in a range of complex and high value commercial litigation cases. She also advised clients on a range of issues in relation to investigations, public law and arbitration. She has spent time in-house on secondments at the BBC Trust and at the Professional Standards Authority.
Angela joined Stewarts as a knowledge development lawyer in August 2019.
Angela is a solicitor with over seven years’ post qualification experience in commercial disputes. She has a wide-ranging knowledge of issues in this sphere.
