Ben advises on high-value personal injury claims, particularly brain and spinal cord injuries, including claims with an international element. He has experience of equestrian cases, as well as burn and amputation injuries.

 

Experience

Ben has acted in many brain and spinal cord injury claims, including accidents abroad. He has supervised fee earners conducting many more. His highlights include achieving multimillion pound settlements resulting from a range of types of accidents, including road traffic accidents and accidents at work.

 

Career

Ben previously worked for Armstrong Foulkes in Middlesbrough before joining Stewarts in 2004. He was made an associate in 2005 and a partner in 2006.

Ben has given many talks about personal injury and related topics to organisations such as Headway UK, the Office of the Official Solicitor, BIRT and Barchester Homes. He has been published in the Solicitors Journal.

Personal

Ben enjoys playing guitar in his band, Legacy. He also enjoys reading (including Greg Bear and Clive Barker) and spending time with his triplets.
