In her current role, Victoria assists fee earners with the resolution of financial claims arising from divorce and private law children disputes. These are complex, high-net-worth matters, often involving an international element.
Throughout her training contract, Victoria has gained experience leading client meetings, instructing counsel and experts, issuing claims, drafting statements, preparing schedules, completing disclosure exercises, attending hearings, carrying out legal research, and implementing firm-wide projects.
As a native English, Spanish and Catalan speaker, Victoria has a particular interest in cross-border litigation. Her language skills have enabled her to interpret for clients during meetings and hearings, as well as to translate legal documents.
Experience
- Assisting a high-net-worth client with financial remedies mediation following the breakdown of their marriage. The matter involved an international pre-nuptial agreement, complex business structures and significant assets abroad.
- Assisting with the firm’s switch of after the event (ATE) insurance providers, which included working alongside the Risk & Funding Partner throughout contract negotiations, helping deliver training to staff, and amending internal documentation / procedures to ensure a successful rollout.
- Assisting in a novel multi-jurisdictional claim brought on behalf of the families of the Chapecoense Football Club players and board members against Aon for broker negligence following the LaMia airline disaster in Colombia in 2016.
Career
Victoria read Politics, Philosophy and Law at King’s College London and completed her Legal Practice Course at BPP University, for which she was awarded a Distinction with a 90% average.
In 2024, Victoria obtained an introductory certification in international arbitration from the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb).

Personal
Victoria enjoys travelling and is currently learning Italian. She also likes cooking and was one of the winners of the 2022 Stewarts Bake Off with her sticky toffee pudding!
Throughout her studies, Victoria was a volunteer at The Passage and led BPP’s employment law clinic with Citizens Advice. Together with Roundabout, The Passage was elected as Stewarts’ Charity of the Year 2023.
