Expertise

Victoria has assisted on a wide variety of high-value and complex aviation injury disputes, often involving an international element. She has experience attending hearings and client meetings, instructing counsel, issuing claims, drafting court submissions and completing disclosure exercises.

Prior to joining Stewarts, Victoria worked on property, family and private client matters involving both Spanish and English-speaking jurisdictions. Her language skills have enabled her to interpret for clients during meetings and hearings, as well as to translate legal documents between English, Spanish, Catalan and French.

Experience

  • Assisting in complex personal injury and clinical negligence proceedings arising from a skydiving accident.
  • Assisting in multi-jurisdictional Commercial Court proceedings brought on behalf of the families affected by an aircraft disaster abroad.
  • Assisting the majority of the families affected by the 2015 Shoreham Airshow disaster in the inquest proceedings.

Career

Victoria read Politics, Philosophy and Law and King’s College London and completed her Legal Practice Course at BPP University, for which she was awarded a Distinction with a 90% average.

Prior to joining Stewarts, Victoria was a paralegal at a tier 1 family law firm in London.

Personal

Victoria enjoys travelling and is currently learning Italian. She also likes cooking and was one of the winners of the 2022 Stewarts Bake Off with her sticky toffee pudding!

Throughout her studies, Victoria was a volunteer at The Passage and led BPP’s employment law clinic with Citizens Advice. Together with Roundabout, The Passage was elected as Stewarts’ Charity of the Year 2023.
