Current trainee, Victoria Lee Domenech, recently shared her experience as a trainee solicitor with us: A day in the life of a trainee solicitor in our Divorce and Family team.
We recruit our trainees exclusively from our existing paralegal pool and are one of only a handful of firms to adopt this strategy. Kenza Sieber shared her experience of working in our aviation team as a paralegal here.
Carly Kinch, the firm’s training partner, is a former Stewarts paralegal who went on to train and qualify at the firm in 2009. You can read more about her career progression here. She was made a partner in the Divorce and Family team in 2018 and appointed as training partner in 2023.
Our training contracts are litigation focused and satisfy Law Society training requirements. Trainees are supervised by either a partner or senior associate and have access to the whole department’s expertise and support. All paralegals at Stewarts are eligible to apply for our training contracts, regardless of length of service.
