In recent years, James has focused purely on large loss spinal cord injury claims. James is spinal cord injured himself (T7 complete) and has a unique set of skills with both professional and personal expertise in this complex area.
James qualified as a solicitor in 2004. James was a defendant personal injury solicitor for around 12 years before undertaking the role of chief executive officer at a specialist spinal cord injury practice in the south east. James joined Stewarts as Legal Director in October 2019.
James is a member of The Law Society.
James is a regular contributor to debates on spinal cord injury and a passionate supporter of the SCI charities and spinal cord injury centres throughout the UK where he often speaks on issues surrounding SCI.
James lives with his wife Yvonne near the Cotswolds. He is a keen cook and car enthusiast. He swam the English Channel in 2010 but has no plans to repeat that any time soon!
