Richard currently supports the Commercial Litigation team in the day-to-day running of a number of high-value disputes. His previous experience includes:

  • Negotiating the exit of a US telecommunications company from a failed Russian joint venture.
  • Advising an African energy company on the terms of an exchangeable bond, procuring a secondary stock exchange listing and removing an executive director from the board.
  • Working on a matter involving one of the largest commercial frauds to go before the English courts in recent years, over crude oil supply contracts.
  • Working on the RBS Rights Issue Litigation.
  • Working on a number of catastrophic spinal injuries claims resulting from medical negligence.

Richard is a science fiction author and has published a number of novels, novellas and short stories. He also enjoys visiting the many steak houses of London, drinking South American red, and collecting classic hardbacks.
